How It Works

Here is an example of how TRAKART makes contextual music videos for songs.

Based on “A Boy Named Sue” performed by Johnny Cash
Written by Shel Silverstein (yes, THAT Shel Silverstein)

#1 – Get The Lyrics

TRAKART first looks for the song’s lyrics at LyricWiki, such as:

Well my daddy left home when I was three

And he didn’t leave much to ma and me

Just this old guitar and an empty bottle of booze.

Now, I don’t blame him cause he run and hid

But the meanest thing that he ever did

Was before he left, he went and named me “Sue.”

If the lyrics are not available, TRAKART uses a series of built-in keywords.

#2 – Find The Keywords

TRAKART then extracts keywords by only using words above a certain length
(set via Options, here shown for 5 characters or longer), for example:

Well my daddy left home when I was three

And he didn’t leave much to ma and me

Just this old guitar and an empty bottle of booze.

Now, I don’t blame him cause he run and hid

But the meanest thing that he ever did

Was before he left, he went and named me “Sue.”

#3 – Grab The Images

TRAKART finally searches public images on Flickr based on the keywords:

Keyword_Daddy

daddy

Keyword_Three

three

Keyword_Didnt

didn’t

and so on…

All images provided by Flickr are under the copyright of their owners.

Preference is given to images above certain dimensions (set via Options).
